OK... this is just a list of what I hate seeing on websites. If your site has anything of this, you can't get an award.
I hate sites with swearing, bad spelling or grammar (that is, bad enough to make even me notice that it's bad).
I hate sites that are in English but because the webmasters only own the Japanese version or haven't heard the English names of the pokémon they're talking about, all pokémon names are in Japanese. I don't know all the Japanese pokémon names. In fact, very few people know all the Japanese pokémon names. Have a little respect for the rest of us and use the English names, which can be found just about everywhere. Sometimes that includes town names too. I've seen the sentences "Go to Kickyou city" and "do this to get Haganale". Very often. When Gold and Silver were out LOOOOONG ago.
I hate sites full of cheats that don't work except if it is somehow noted that they're not tested. If they're said to work, I get really pissed off. I remember when I saw a very stupid fake cheat that had at the bottom "I SWEAR THIS WORKS!!". I most certainly didn't bother to remember that site's address...
I hate sites full of broken pictures and links. In case you don't know what "broken" means in this case, it means it doesn't work. That is, that the links will take you to "This page cannot be displayed" and the pictures will appear as a little white box with a red X in it.
I hate sites that talk about the Ruby and Sapphire versions as "pokémon advance" because the names Ruby and Sapphire were released veeeeery long ago and if they're talking about Ruby and Sapphire at all, they should call them by the right name. Of course, this normally means that person hasn't updated for a long time.
I hate sites that talk about the Crystal version as a Japanese game with no release dates elsewhere or a mystery yet to be solved, because that means they haven't updated in a long time.
I hate sites that talk about the Gold and Silver versions as Japanese games with no release dates elsewhere or a mystery yet to be solved, because that means they haven't updated in a looooong time.
I hate sites that talk about the Yellow version as a Japanese game with no release dates elsewhere or a mystery yet to be solved, because that means they haven't updated in a REALLY long time.
I hate sites that don't talk about other versions than Red and Blue at all, because that means they haven't updated in a really, REALLY long time.
I hate sites that mention Pikablu. Pikablu doesn't exist. If you've seen that Pikablu code said to be "approved by Nintendo", that was just put on there by some stupid person trying to get attention.
I hate sites that advertise something like "WE HAVE ALL [insert a number between 154 and 162 here] POKÉMON!" and if you go there, it will have the R/B/Y pokémon and then a few fake pokémon like "Pikablu", "Topegy", "Doomsay", Doomsday", "Nidogod" and "Chrona Mew".
I hate popup ads. If you want a free website, go to Freewebs. It has everything the other free website companies have except ads.
