This guide got me into spriting back as a teenager. Started with recolors and revamps, and then moved onto splices and pixel-overs. I still use the techniques I learned here and refer back here even now. I also direct other spriters here for tips. Been working on spriting the Paldea pokemon.

This was like my favorite ever sprite guide more than 10 (15 even?) years ago and I would read it over and over. Love that it's still up and super well written!
