Yup. According to the fandom, "Diamond and Pearl" doesn't make sense because diamonds are completely different from pearls, and pearls are girly, and there are those bootleg games Diamond and Jade so naming an official game "Diamond" is a bad idea. And how dare they name it "Platinum" when everybody thought it would be "Opal" and Giratina's name totally comes from "girasol" and not "platina" and Giratina isn't actually platinum-colored?!



Fandom will complain about everything.

Um, that's pretty old news. o_O And everybody has gotten used to it already. Just like with every other initially silly-sounding name. (People complained abut "Diamond and Pearl" and "Platinum", too).

But none of my ROMs do. Crap. Ah well, I'll (hopefully) find one eventually. There must be some SS ROMs that work, since I've seen people say " Oh this game is so great" but when I try that ROM, It has a black screen after the character creaation screen.

I hear it doesn't work at all on No$zoomer. :/ Get No$GBA 2.6a. It has an auto-detect setting for the save type.

The save message is actually to do with the emulator, not the ROM, and can be fixed by changing the save type set on the emulator; which one are you using?



On the other hand, it also is very hard to get a ROM to work past the character creation even if you have the right save settings, because it has some nice anti-piracy measures. I'd rather not sit here giving out information about pirating games, but if I could find it, odds are so can you.

How the heck did you find a ROM that works? I've been trying for a day to get a Soul Silver ROM that works, but they all have the message (Roughly translated) "The save data can not be accessed. Please reset the power and reinsert your game card." Can anyone help?
