12/17/23: Indigo Disk Updates

I have now finished playing through the main story of the Indigo Disk DLC, so I've made the basic Indigo Disk updates: the Favorite Pokémon Picker, list generator, Gen IX Capture Calculator, Number Game, Hangman, evolution list, stat stages and status ailments should all now be up-to-date according to the DLC content. Subtle shinies should be coming tomorrow or in the next few days.

@ariel: That's actually just for historical reasons - when I first added Gen IX to the picker, Pokémon Home didn't have the data or artwork for them yet, and instead I extracted the images from in-game screenshots provided by Anubis. However, Roaming Gimmighoul was not actually obtainable in-game at all, so it wasn't among them.

I suppose there's nothing really stopping me from just adding it now. I've got other stuff to be doing, but I'll try to get to it next time I fiddle with the picker.

@OT: Ah, I'm sorry about that. Generally, if you want to be going in fully blind, websites can be a dangerous place to be. Generally the Pokémon I've marked as spoilers have been unreleased (there's one of those in Indigo Disk and it's marked as a spoiler so it shouldn't show up if you don't have that checked) or else more straight-up story spoilers, but with the whole DLC thing I definitely get how it's more awkward than it used to be since you can't easily just exclude the DLC Pokémon if you don't want to see any of those in particular.

Perhaps it might be worth having two levels of spoiler-marking, the unreleased-or-story level and a generic "featured in latest official release" marking (maybe with exceptions for Pokémon that were officially revealed beforehand)? Thoughts?

Hi there,

I've been using your Pokémon picker for a long time now and it's a great tool, thanks so much for making it!

One nasty surprise though when I wanted to build a ranking earlier today and found a spoiler for the Indigo Disk, isn't it a little early for those Pokémon to no longer be filtered out by the spoiler option? Not everyone has had the chance to finish the DLC yet.

Hope you take this into consideration!

Kind regards

Awesome turnaround on these updates! However, I think you might want to update the capture calculator/formula pages to address the Catching Charm, since it's now obtainable. (You get it from Drayton in the DLC.)
