I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT!!!!!!!!!
Also move those ads back to the "LOOK AT MY ADS" position.
My name is NOT Eighty, it's E-ighty. Do you like if I write one with a shiny Dragonair?
That was….fantastic. Very much so. It moved me, I think that story's Curse was a very nice deconstruction of the "PokeSlave" phenomenon in fan fiction, how people write about Pokemon as drones that are recalled into their PokeBalls till next battle, the way you presented that is…chilling. Very well done. *slowclap*
You stole the soul of a Dragonite (my favourite Pokemon), you meanie!
But seriously, great morbid one-shot. Due to your notice saying it was in the holiday spirit, I believed you and was expecting something happy and magical. I got my favourite Pokemons soul stolen by an evil move. I'm never going to trust you again. Never again…
I've never read your fanfic before, so I'm not used to your morbidness.
Upon reading this, I immediately removed the move curse from my Pokemon's moveset.
Okay, maybe I'm just a little super-creeped.
(Eighty, write your own fanfic if you don't like Butterfree's slice of epic on a plate.)
Okay, fine. Make a Dragonite defeat all Pokemon except for one shiny Pokemon I like… like a Charizard???
o.O A Dragonite defeating all Pokémon ever and never getting hurt wouldn't exactly make for a very interesting work of fiction.
Why do people always act so mortally offended when something bad happens to fictional characters? Bad things happen to fictional characters because that is what makes fiction interesting, not because the author has anything against those characters. I only torture characters I like.
I hate this! I want one with Dragonite not being hurt! Just one dragonite that defeats all pokemon ever! And can't be hurt!
Read curse… yesterday, I think it was? That was just… creepy. Although I myself have only ever used the Ghost-type Curse(and not that often), its easy to picture the loss of soul that might come with the Normal/other than Ghost-type Curse.
Intriguing by all means; however, I personally found it difficult to distinguish the reverse-chronological order of the Morty flashbacks. Then again, I didn't have time to read the whole thing in one sitting, so that may have been part of the problem. Regardless, great story.
Wow, that was very good. It sure portrays the effects of the curse well. And I loved the morbid bits, even though I wish there was even more morbidity.
Very morbid, but that's what makes it so good. =P I never thought of Curse that way, and now I'm a bit 'fraid to use it…
I could totally imagine Dragonite drawing a pentagram during that chanting…
Maybe a little. Minus the fact that Kari is all best buddies with her Pokémon. :P They do look kind of alike in my head, but then again that's just because they're both sort of based on the Crystal girl.
Kari kinda reminds me of May.
Sorry to comment again, but lol, I just realized this reminds me of something: Voldemort's Horcruxes XD, maybe that's why I liked the last books so much =P
Wow, that was awesome, but creepy too… Poor Dragonite….
That plot would be awesome for a book, though, it's a very interesting concept, I feel like writing a longer fan fic about it, but I don't want to steal it from you XD
That was… interesting! Never thought of curse looking like that, and I get how ghosts can use it unharmed because of that Morty flashback. It took me a moment to figure out one of those Morty flashbacks, but it was good. So that Snorlax was pretty much "soulless". Huh. Morbid, but I like it!
I have to agree with that last post. I didn't like using curse to begin with (I usually just stick to 'wack things until they die and heal sometimes'. No strategy for me. :P), but now I'm definitely NEVER using curse EVER.
Hooooooooly. Curse was so freakin morbid. That was scary, man. Was the kid's Scizor under Curse too?
Oh, by the way, it was really good. Just creepy. <.<
