The short answer would be no, there is absolutely no chance whatsoever that I will review ordinary episodes. Even if it were humanly possible for one person to write reviews of this level of detail for more than six hundred episodes while more are being added every week, I'm simply not interested.



I love the Pokémon franchise with all my heart, but the Pokémon anime is just not a very ambitious TV show; it's there to show off a setting and the creatures living in it, and the plot and characters are pretty much an afterthought. While it can be entertaining enough if you find the setting compelling, it's just not well suited to being analyzed as a story, and since that's pretty much the whole point of my movie reviews, I would have extremely little to say and any attempts at reviews would pretty much be glorified summaries.



I can review the movies and specials because those are more ambitious and story-based. The regular episodes, not so much.

Butterfree do you think there is any chance, whatsoever, that you'll expand your movie reviews to reviews of individual episodes?



If you do that, you may want to cut out filler episodes, and possibly come back to them after finishing up.



I suppose an issue would be how many episodes there are, so finding them, and the time to review them all would be incredibly huge…

I noticed that your little "Movie Reviews" tab has Mewtwo Returns in it, but instead of linking to Mewtwo Returns it goes to the non-existant "movie13.apsx" or someting like that. Just thought I'd point that out.

I liked Mewtwo Returns, but every point you made was fair and honest. I agree with most, if not all, of it.



Even if I didn't agree, if you review something honestly, its silly to flame someone over it. I always find it funny when people can't dissociate critiques of their interests from personal attacks.

Because, at least according to my general impressions, the fandom seems to love Mewtwo Returns. Even Dogasu, who gets plenty critical when he wants to, thinks it's one of the best Pokémon stories. I got e-mails asking me "Hey, are you going to review that movie Mewtwo Returns? It's one of my favorites." So I have a feeling going on about it being full of logic holes and not following up on its potential isn't going to be very popular.

Ugh. Got distracted debating the death penalty with the incarnation of Light from Death Note, and now it's four AM, the review still isn't finished, and I haven't even done my homework. Sorry, but it'll have to wait another day. I can't possibly imagine it will take longer than tomorrow, though; I'm down to the last fifteen minutes of the special, and though I'll have quite a bit to ramble about in the good and bad sections, that usually doesn't take me that long.
