I'm pretty sure that suicune has absolutely nothing to do with the Ruins of Alph.

But if you catch at least one of every unown, you'll get the option to them, or something. If you have a gameboy printer.

I've just caught Suicune. Yay me. Saaay, does anyone know if Suicune has anything to do with the Ruins of Alph? I'm trying to figure out the puzzles there (not the sliding panels, they're easy), so I want to know if the little opening scene with Suicune is hinting that he has something to do with the Unown.

I got a shiny caterpie (legal) in it too! I was looking for bulbasaurs. None turned up.

No Sky Attacking then.

My crobat is in XD, so I can't teach it brave bird. And I'm saving my aerial ace TM so I can duplicate it in Emerald (if TMs are discs, then why can't I just copy their progam on to another disc, so I don't have to worry about finding more later?), but I need a GBA/GCN link cable.

Shadow Ball TMs, can be replaced at Mt. Battle though… For a ridiculous amount of PokéCoupons.

Talking mathematically, Sky Attack has an average base damage per turn of 63 (base damage 140, divided by 2 as it takes two turns, multiplied by 0.9 for the 90% accuracy). That is only 3 points higher than Aerial Ace, which negates accuracy-reduction attacks and is therefore probably a safer bet. Hope that helps! =]

Crobat really got shafted in terms of offensive moves, given that his STAB types are argueably the worst two in the game :( And please dont give ANYTHING SkyAttack, it truly is one of the worst moves in the game. Two turn moves in general are bad, the only reason Fly, Dig, and Shadow Force are acceptable in certain situations is due to the turn of near-immunity you get. Sky Attack has no immunity turn. Its horrid. Go with Aerial Ace or Brave Bird or something. Please.
