Welcome to the Cave of Dragonflies guestbook.
Hi, Butterfree! Just putting this comment here to tell you how much I love this website, I was searching around for Pokemon movie reviews one day, and binge - read almost all of yours. Keep up the good work! -Iggy30874

Hi everyone!
I used to let people use my fake Pokémon in fangames with credit, but I'm afraid several years back I decided to stop - they were starting to feel like the internet's 'stock fakes' and I just wasn't quite comfortable with that. Nothing against your project personally - I just feel I should stay consistent on this, since otherwise it wouldn't be fair to the other projects I've said no to over the years since. Good luck working on your games!
Hey, I need fakemon ideas for my game, Pokémon V, and Pokémon W. I was wondering if I could use some of yours and credit the designs. Thanks in advance.
Hello!
I love your website, Butterfree. The Cave Of Dragonflies has been around and active since during the second generation of Pokémon.
One's late twenties is not old. I am a thirty-year-old girly guy.
Earth is approximately four billion, five hundred forty million years old. The Hadean eon is more than four billion years ago. You have got to see these pictures of Hadean Earth. Earlier Hadean Earth is a cracked rock with an ocean of fire. Later Hadean Earth has visible land, water and fire from orbit. The holes in the land look like boiling bubbles.

hey hey, thank you for making this community!
Happy new year! Just let me know what your latest Broadway musical obsession is, I'll see if I can't work something out. ;) At least I can promise you more Salvage in the coming year!
Hope you have a great 2018!
Hello! I'm the guy who suggested adding a Type filter to the Favorite Pokémon Picker.
I was thinking if it would be possible to use the animated sprites for it instead of the static Dex ones, as I think seeing a Pokémon moving really helps evaluating it when it comes to favorites. Maybe add the option to switch between Static Sprites, Animated Ones (maybe even add the option to use Sugimori art). I don't know if that would be too much work to be worth it, of course.
Also, I'd love if we could filter the Pokémon by evolution stages other than just excluding NFE.
Merry Christmas Butterfree and tCoD! :D I hope you had a fantastic day!
I think around two years ago I asked Butterfree for some help with CSS, and now that I've finally had time to build my website I'm so happy - it really is a rewarding experience! Thank you so much for always being an inspiration to me, and I can't wait to see what the new year brings to tCoD.
Just wanted to thank you for your RBY Safari Zone mechanics page. I've been working on my pokedex for the virtual console games, and the percentages for each strategy are exactly what I've been depending on.
I'm planning to do something in that direction. I haven't quite settled on exactly what form it will take, since there's a certain tradeoff between the complexity of the tool required and programming ability required of the end-user.
I'm a huge fan of your Pokemon Picker! I really love the way it works, and as someone who often has trouble choosing their favorites with many things, I was wondering if it would be possible to release something similar that runs on the same algorithm, but allows you to input your own choices instead of being limited to Pokemon? Just a suggestion. Thanks in advance.
Sagiri: Maybe. Places to Train came about because I had the location data and it made it easy and practical to compare average experience/EVs across locations; if I manage to load Gen VII encounter data into the database, Places to Train would be reasonably easy to do from there.
Do you have plans to continue your Places To Train series for the newer games?
Happy belated birthday to my number one favorite Pokémon site! :D I hope this site stays around for many, many, many years to come. It's so amazing to me that this site, an important part of my childhood, is still up and running (while sadly most of the other Pokémon sites I visited back then are long gone now). I first visited this site around 13 years ago and I've adored it ever since. I love the new Celebi style too!
Thanks for all the well-wishes, everyone!
In response to Henry's request for a Mega Evolution-only mode for the Favorite Pokémon Picker: Unfortunately, I think that's a bit too specific - I can't keep adding more options for any conceivable subset of Pokémon people could theoretically want to pick between, or I'd never stop. However, it's not too hard to emulate that - simply set the picker to forms mode, major only, final evolutions only, and uncheck every generation except VI, then simply don't pick any of the non-megas. Pretty quickly you'll have eliminated all of them, and while they'll pop back up as the megas go into your Found Favorites, you can simply continue to ignore them until you've ordered every mega.
I've been thinking about Celebi and its movie a lot. Dead Celebi was lit. There should be a Celebi dead form that is Grass/Ghost and looks like the dead celebi in the movie. tat wuld b a lit.
Congrats on reaching the milestone! 15 years is a long time. Celebi style is one of my favorite style and I'm glad to see a remade version of it!
Thank you for creating and maintaining this website. I admire your dedication and love on this website and Pokemon. I discovered this website in 2009 and it brings back the memories reading your pages. Thanks for sticking around. People and interests come and go, but I will never forget this website as part of my childhood.
Wow, congratulations on the 15 (!) years.
