Welcome to the Cave of Dragonflies guestbook.
Off-topic discussion is allowed, but spam is not; please make sure all your messages are of substantial meaning that at least somebody would be interested in reading and responding to. That being said, obviously I appreciate comments relating to The Cave of Dragonflies, whether they are error reports, questions, suggestions or whatever else you might want to get across.

My own messages will be signed as Butterfree, with the Admin label below my name. If someone signs as Butterfree without that label, it's probably not me.

Website: The Cave of DragonfliesThe names sound way cheesy, but I still think they're better than DuskGold and DawnSilver. FireRed and LeafGreen referenced common association with the words "Red" and "Green", which "DuskGold" and "DawnSilver" did not, instead bringing up random words that might at most have been associated with the legendary Pokémon on the covers. At least HeartGold and SoulSilver bring up a similar association, even if they sound a bit over-the-top.

Iceland:
Iceland is actually a representative democracy (meaning that you vote for you president, and the president acts on the peoples best interests, but is able to make changes sometimes even if the people agree. Countries such as the U.S.A., Canada (^.^), and Australia are a couple that use this.) and a parliamentary republic (meaning that there is different branches of power in the country, such as head of country, to head of state, and so on. Canada and Australia are a couple of these.)
The president acts as a diplomat but can block a law decided by parliament, and put it into a national debate or vote. The current president is Olafur Ragnar Grimsson. The prime minster is Johanna Siguroardottir.[07/05/2009 11:34:10]

Website: The Cave of DragonfliesThat was waaaay back, when I was using an outside script and the actual handling of whether or not you were logged in was rather lazy. It's not that way anymore.

A few months back, didn't someone manage to trick the guestbook into putting Admin under their name, without actually logging in?

Website: The Cave of DragonfliesThere is a login page for the guestbook. It's just not linked to anywhere, since the only person who needs to access it is me, and I know where it is.
If it gives you some sort of an error, you should probably get a better browser that can handle huge pages like that. :/
And we have a president.[07/05/2009 00:50:05]

Website: The Cave of DragonfliesYou can't just "figure out" how to do it. I log in with a password to make it recognize me as an admin. (It also conveniently fills out the name/e-mail/website fields for me. :P)
And if some affiliates are appearing multiple times, it's a glitch in the automatic script that randomizes the order of the affiliates every time a page is viewed.
Happy birthday, KyuuFox. :D[06/05/2009 23:25:53]
