Welcome to the Cave of Dragonflies guestbook.

Off-topic discussion is allowed, but spam is not; please make sure all your messages are of substantial meaning that at least somebody would be interested in reading and responding to. That being said, obviously I appreciate comments relating to The Cave of Dragonflies, whether they are error reports, questions, suggestions or whatever else you might want to get across.

I just read something about a new leader coming to power in Reykjavík. Is it true that his party is called 'The Best', and that he promised free towels at swimming pools and a new polar bear for the zoo?

Butterfree - The Newsletter is just a little "newsletter" being made on AnimalCrossingCommunity.com

and as an Ad-scout, I am to find two sites per issue to advertise.

Being obsessed with Pokémon , I have chosen to advertise, you guessed, Pokémon sites, even though the site is for AC (they are getting a little bit more lenient now)

If you are interested, please drop an email at Sonic123Link@aim.com

Hi peoples!

No, this is my opinion. I've had… bad experiences with the Lavender town music in FR/LG ever since i heard it backwards.Look it up at your own risk.

Although the Arceus music backwards is pretty scary too.

And also, on a very unrelated note, Ive been intrested in Astro Boy lately.I've seen the 2003 version, and I'm trying to find the manga. Anyone here like any of the many versions?

I've never understood why people are so freaked out by Lavender Town. It's never phased me. :/

Hey, I never said it was the creepiest thing in the games. :P It's just somewhat creepy.

Both of those also apply to Bichoo. It's pretty simple to look up 'Dragon Scale' or 'Red Scale', yes?

Or, for general pokemon references, you can use Bulbapedia.

Also, for future reference, Google is your friend. It's easy to just search for things like "Pokémon Crystal Ruins of Alph guide" and getting exactly what you were looking for without having to wait for somebody to see your message and type it up.

Mystery Gift is done by using the infrared port of the Game Boy (Color) to communicate with another game on the title screen. In particular, Eon Mail is apparently obtained by communicating with the Pokémon Pikachu 2.

If I remember correctly, the message meanings are something like…

"Light": use Flash.

"Ho-oh": have a Ho-oh first in your party.

"Water": use a Water Stone.

"Escape": use an Escape Rope.

The strange broadcast in the ruins is just some creepy noise apparently made by the Unown. It has no storyline purpose.

Ancientpower: In Crystal, you can only get it if the Pokémon learns it by level-up (the fossil Pokémon, Corsola, Ho-oh, Lugia, Mew and Celebi) or if you breed a male one of them with one of the Pokémon that can learn it by breeding.

Eon Mail: Apparently you can only get it through Mystery Gift.

Ruins of Alph: Nothing "happens" in them, but if you solve the puzzles you can release all the Unown into the ruins so you can catch them, and in Crystal, the walls in the puzzle rooms will have cryptic messages that, if you can decipher what they want (or use a guide), let you into chambers with even more items. There are also two hidden chambers which you may or may not have been to; they're accessed through Union Cave.

Breeding Tyrogue: You can't; it's a baby Pokémon. Evolve it first, and then breed it with a Ditto, since it's always male and you can't get a baby Tyrogue otherwise.
